HK DevMEET on MARCH! (UPDATED! SATURDAY??)

SATURDAY ACTIVITIES MEET

So we've had some suggestions for the Saturday Meet, WHICH I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND! Sadly BUT~ This thing is still going on so have no fear! Okay, here are the suggested places/activities that I found to be pretty cool:

1. GOLDEN ERA PLAZA ON SAI YEE STREET. It's on Mong Kok. I thought this was pretty cool since there's Wifi >D

2. TAI O. Seems to be a great place to get some pictures taken, sketch. Great view too!

3. LIVE DRAWING SESSION hosted by: vinnikiniki Sounds cool Not much info on it though, but it's still something to think about.

4. STREET SHOW. Now this sounds EPIC. Basically we get some tall ply wood or something we can use as a canvas and we spew artistic crap all over it. And everyone can watch. Right on.

5. STANLEY MARKET. Great place to chill, draw and take pictures. Oh, and there's a great place for drinks there. 'Nuff said.

These are just some suggestions that have been made so far so if you have anything you want to propose, now would be a good time Please keep in mind that not only sketchers are coming, but photographers are too so it should be something that can be done.... TOGETHER.

Since I can't be there I can't have you sending me your contact info, so if anyone would like to step up and be the.. er... "Group Leader" (Forgive the cheesy handle) then RAISE YOUR HANDS!

OKAY EVERYONE, THE DATE AND DESTINATION HAS BEEN SET FOR DINNER! (Mostly because there weren't any other suggestions)

MEETING PLACE: MONG KOK STATION EXIT E2
MEETING TIME: 5: 30

Shenli here and I just came back from the Meet a few minutes ago. It was fun ^^ Even though there were only SkyLordDaniel and emilyrosewandering and I ^^ Rosa and I met up first and she suggested we make a sign. XD She pulled out her sketchbook and we scribled DEVIANTART on it. It worked 'cause we found thevinda XD Had a lot of fun~

I hope there will be more people on Saturday. There have been 2 suggestions made; Mong Kok or Tai O. Basically we just need a place where we could just chill, take pictures and draw and goof around ^^

I... don't know if i can make it since I might have work but if anyone is coming, just let SkyLordDaniel know

Hello everyone! I’m elleoser, a contributor currently residing in Hong Kong!

has suggested that deviants residing in Hong Kong meet up! So far, it’s just a dinner gathering but maybe we can all do something together first and then sit down for food? It’s still in the works but the date has been planned for the 1st to the 7th of MARCH.

I can make myself available during the first week of March so I’m all for it!

I hope this happens because it sounds fun~ It doesn’t have to be something major it can just be a little gathering but if anyone is interested, feel free to discuss it here (Journal comments) and don’t be afraid to throw in some ideas for the MEET!

I apologise for not posting anything new about the DevMEET recently. I've been a little out of it and I know that doesn't really make up for it but I'm here now and the dates have been SET!

SkyLordDaniel Updated his journal recently and the MEET has been slit into 2 days so here they are:

Tuesday 2nd:
Dinner meet up
5.30pm
Suggested location: Satay King (Mong Kok or Causeway Bay)

Saturday 6th:
Day meet up
12pm
Suggested location: ???

Basically Tuesday is a MEET for Dinner and Saturday is a MEET for activities (just doing something creative together or we can just goof around ahaha)

If anyone can come up with something to do on Saturday, that would be awesome! I'm thinking of a place where we can take pictures and sketch, maybe a beach/park or something.

Personally, I'm not sure I can make it on Saturday but I'll see what I can do. Tuesday is a yes for me!
